I always have a plan or a sketch whenever I do detailed illustrations but I went with no rough sketches and painted digitally. 

As I blocked in this digital illustration, I found myself struggled to show the light and glow that I wanted to capture in this forest scene. From my inspiration to draw with more freedom, I experimented with texture brushes and turned out so much 

better than I anticipated. 

I finished the digital painting with a few hours and glad the contrasting colours came alive in this illustration. Coupled with the textures brushes that showed the grass to the trees, 

I loved the way it turned out.
